Tools Programmer (Mobile) wanted for ***AAA FIRST CLASS GAMES STUDIO*** in Europe

Job Title: Tools Progammer (Mobile) Location: Germany Salary: DOE (very competitive) Job Type: Permanent Platforms: Console (current and next-gen)/PC

Our client, a globally recognised videogame powerhouse, has been a key player in the games industry for over 12 years. With a string of award winning titles, ground breaking technology and a pipeline of exciting new projects they are going from strength to strength.

They are currently looking for an experienced Tools Developer (Mobile) to work in their core studio.


–     Outstanding C and C++:  programming and debugging. – Solid background in building large-scale, distributed core backend components using Java/JEE frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate) – Familiar with OO design patterns and proven methodologies using UML – Experience with standard build tools, particularly Maven – Experience writing deployment and installation scripts for enterprise applications are highly desirable, especially in Unix/Linux environments – Used to work in agile environments, particularly SCRUM – 3+ years games industry experience in a similar role


 – Development of one or more (backend) tools,  design, coding & deployment – Works with QA engineers to ensure quality throughout the development cycle – Create appropriate, accurate, up-to-date technical documentation  – Helps to drive the delivery of successful, cutting edge products by working on a team with other highly talented Producers, Developers, and Designers
