Our client is the disruptive force in social gaming and gaming experiences. This is a highly unique studio, the people and the whole culture is second to none in the UK games industry!

They are seeking an experienced programmer to join their games development team to help with the ongoing development of all their current projects and a few new ‘top secret’ projects too.

This role encourages a level of flexibility in your work attitude as this is a role where you will be noticed and not just given task lists to complete – it’s a highly creative & dynamic setting within the studio and throughout the company as a whole.


– Implementation of game code to a high quality. – Working closely with the other game developers to ensure all code is of the same high standards. – Designing new features and coming up with new game ideas. – Responsible for the HTML side of the product (javascript, jQuery).

Essential Skills:

– Great programming skills. – Portfolio of work that includes games made for web or mobile, preferably made for yourself or side/personal projects too! – Ability to adapt to new coding techniques and learn new languages. – Excellent attention to detail and a high level of polish. – Must like playing games!

Programming Skills:

(They are looking for an adaptable and experienced programmer who has a good mix of the following)     – Proven experience in a variety of languages such any combination of Actionscript, C++, Java, Objective C, C#, javascript, etc. – Written mobile games on Android or iOS devices. – Experience of Agile development environments (SCRUM, etc..)

Other Beneficial skills (but not essential):

– Worked with any of Unity, HTML5, Marmalade, Libgdx, Cocos2D     – Worked with NoSQL databases     – Experience with Javascript, jQuery     – Experience with Actionscript 3      – Knowledge of Flash 11
